Kapolei is a growing "second city". Retailers in the area include The Home Depot, Costco, Target, TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Walmart and Down to Earth.
The center also is close to major office buildings, state and federal agencies, courts and medical facilities.
Additional new tenants coming to other buildings in the center will include the first drive-thru Jamba Juice location in the State of Hawaii along with a new 3,000 square foot Popeyes drive thru as well, JLL said in the announcement. A Raisin Canes opened a few years ago, several hotels, new schools and new roads. Several large solar farms are tucked away in the city as well.
Popeyes is being built by the Central Pacific Bank.
